Why chose Emily as your art teacher? : EMB has been painting for 30+ years, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, taught art to k-12th grade students afterschool and summer camps, did successful and fun-to-boot adult “BYOB” painting workshops, and honestly feels like life is just one big giant ART CLASS itself. She brings both technical skill and soulful inspiration into each class. Emily’s teaching goal is to create a welcoming, inspiring space where art becomes not only a skill, but also a joyful tool for self-discovery, emotional expression, and deeper spiritual connection. She holds space for moving through emotions, mental blockages, limiting beliefs, and finding big breakthroughs and confidence with art. She is not a therapist, but is a healer and sensitive to energy and can coach others through their artistic “holdups”. We can even use meditation to recenter and heal your mind, body, and spirit around making art!
Art classes can be held in person around the Nashville/Mt Juliet, TN area, anywhere else (with a travel stipend, depending on other locations), or virtually over Zoom! Classes are $60 per hour.
